All the people must have watched at least one of the Disney movies, when they were children. Therefore, every time Disney movies are mentioned everyone can visualize nearly the same world. This world was created by Walt Disney in the twentieth century, and number of people who believe this dream world has increased a lot with every new movie. These movies give people a narrow perspective on humanity, and as a result these movies have negative effects on young girls.

Firstly, all princesses on movies are impeccable in every respect, and all of them have perfect features, arranged hairs, custom-engineered dresses, and above all slim waists. It shows that every young girl has to be thin to be a princess. Thus, princesses on Disney movies may lead young girls to believe that losing weight is good and putting on weight is bad, so young girls may suffer from some health problems. For example, since girls think that they have to lose weight and remain the same and that they have to be thin in order to be beautiful; they do not get enough nourishment. For this reason, they may suffer from anorexia nervosa, and they become anorexic people.

In addition to distorted perception of beauty, Disney Princesses make young girls believe in extraordinary things such as magic, sorcery, witches, coincidences, pumpkins that can turn into the horse-drawn vehicle, hair as long as a tower, and above all happy endings. All of them have negative impacts on people. For instance, sometimes we see people who swindle somebody under the pretext of bewitching on the news. This means that people believe that they can change their lives with magic as in tales.

In conclusion, Disney movies shape people’s viewpoints negatively with various ways. Fortunately, nowadays some people are aware of this case, and day by day more people become aware of imposed ideas in movies. I hope that producers of Disney movies stop influencing people with backward ideas.
