Thus, they both spend more time with their family and have flexible working hours. Working in an office may be a part of conventional system; however, freelancing is a contemporary system.

The first difference between freelancers and office workers is their responsibilities. Although freelancing is perceived as comfort, responsibility of freelancers may be more than office workers’. While freelancers can work for more than one company at the same time, office workers can work for only one company. Therefore, their working hours differ from each other, too. Office workers have standard office hours, whereas s can decide themselves when and where they work.

Another difference is that their salaries differ from each other. Office workers receive the salary, but freelancers do not receive the salary. On the contrary, freelancers earn money from piecework. If they work very hard, they could earn more money. It can be said that, freelancers decide themselves how much they will earn, instead of the salary that determined by the boss.

Consequently, freelancing and working in an office have many differences, and freelancing is more current system. When we consider that independence is one of the most important things for today’s human being, freelancing is the most suitable system for the zeitgeist.
