Nowadays, the world has changed very quickly due to technology and its profits. Every day, we encounter new things in all fields of life. However, unfortunately we cannot benefit from technology sufficiently in some respects such as education in our country. In Turkey, the system of education is not suitable for requirements of twenty-first century that is knowledge and technological age and generation Z in terms of expectations, preferences, and mission strategies.

Everybody should have twenty-first century perfections to be successful in daily life and professional career; however, unfortunately many people graduate from high schools and even universities without any ideas about these issues. Some of these perfections are that learning to learn, information and digital era literacy, communication skills, creativity, critical thinking, cultural, global, and environmental awareness, leadership, and collaborative work. Besides these, high school graduates are deficient in time management, concentration, problem solving instead of multiple choice, analysis and synthesis instead of rote, ethical values, respect for diversity, and even foreign language. For these reasons, MEF University and MZV have organised twelve-week awareness training programme known as Yetkin Gençler (YETGEN) the aim of raise individuals who are competent and have mindfulness since 2015. 5823 students have found an opportunity to improve themselves in various subjects so far by controversy of this training under equal basis and free of charge.

On the other hand, our system of education is not contemporary, inclusive, and qualified. Expectations of education are composed of listening to teacher for hours at class, doing homework, committing everything to memory. At this point, I want to speak of Flipped-Learning is defined as ‘‘a framework that enables educators to reach every student. The Flipped approach inverts the traditional classroom model by introducing course concepts before class, allowing educators to use class time to guide each student through active, practical, innovative applications of the course principles.’’. I think that if this model becomes widespread, our system of education will be contemporary and qualified. Unfortunately, in these days just MEF University apply this model on university basis in Turkey and in the world. Students turn people who keep informed by academicians to people who reach information and transport the information the next step thanks to this model. Every student can have the opportunity to watch lessons again and again and to participate lessons online. This model in contrast to present system of education accepts every person and their learning process can be different.

As a result, I am led to the conclusion that present system of education does more harm than good for students. Traditional methods are considered as a waste of time by too little students. A lot of students, their parents, and even educators are unaware of this circumstance. Most of them have no knowledge about Flipped Learning and twenty-first century perfections. I hope that authorities notice this situation as soon as possible. Otherwise, we lose generation Z because of wrong system of education.
